In accordance with Facebook Platform Policy and applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to request deletion of all personal data Mediamer holds about you. This page explains how to exercise that right.
Delete Account In-App (Recommended)
The fastest method. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
- 1Log in to your Mediamer account
- 2Go to Account Settings → click "Delete Account"
- 3Enter your password to confirm
- 4Your account is immediately deactivated and all data is queued for deletion
- 5All data is permanently deleted within 30 days
Submit a Deletion Request via Email
If you cannot access your account, send us a deletion request:
Subject: Data Deletion Request — [your username or email]
Body: Please include your username, registered email, and Facebook User ID (if applicable)
Revoke Access via Facebook Settings
To revoke Mediamer's access to your Facebook data (this triggers our automatic data deletion callback):
- 1Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- 2Find Mediamer in the list of connected apps
- 3Click Remove to revoke all permissions
- 4Facebook will notify Mediamer via our Data Deletion Callback URL
- 5We will automatically delete all your Facebook-related data within 30 days
What Data Gets Deleted
* Financial transaction records may be retained for up to 5 years for legal and tax compliance purposes, as required by Vietnamese law.
Data Deletion Callback (For Facebook)
Mediamer implements Facebook's required Data Deletion Callback endpoint. When a user removes our app from Facebook Settings, Facebook sends a signed request to:
